Rudheath township is situated 2 miles south-east of Northwich, in the ancient parishes of Davenham and Sandbach. It became a civil parish in 1866 and the records date from the establishment of the Parish Council in 1894 in accordance with the Local Government Act of 1894. Burials were carried out in accordance with that act and with the burial acts (1853-c.1880) and took place in Rudheath cemetery. |
